More details to this question:
I'm 65 on soc.sec., married 24 yrs, raised his children (now 32 & 30) had daughter together now 23, living at home, the dog & have joint legal custody of my 8 yr old granddaughter with him. He left 6/29/14 & moved in with a woman after a 4 week affair. He stopped paying toward any marital debt in Oct. 2014 even debt in his name only. I have paid the mtg and debt in my name, some funds borrowed. His RV was repossessed Wed. and all his personal creditors are threatening legal action. He has stated he's not paying anything, they can just put liens on the house and they'll get paid when house is sold. He wants the marital home sold, yet refuses to fix it, pay towards the mtg or taxes, and refuses to sign any mtg modification paperwork. The house is assessed at $202,000 1st & 2nd mtg totals $91,000 in both names. Debt in his name $28,000 Includes RV Debt in my name $11,000 not incl., utilities, insurance, etc. How do I stop him from destroying my credit & threatening the family home?
It sounds like you need to file a complaint seeking support. You could ask for the home in lieu of support payments, and get his name off the deed. If you are in Monmouth or Ocean Counties, please call if you think I could help.

The issues you raise in your question are important ones, and the resolution of those issues may have substantial ramifications, both now and in the future.
Many lawyers offer short in-person “Free Consultations” as a means of attracting potential clients. I believe that a “Free Consultation” is not sufficient for the potential client to obtain the information and guidance that he/she needs, and that it also ignores the value of the lawyer’s advice.
Therefore, I offer what is called an Assessment, in which I will go over your situation in detail, answer your questions, and give you guidance as to the best course of action. Typically, the Assessment lasts about an hour. The cost is $425.
Your question does not specify the town in which you live. My firm's offices are located in Morristown, NJ (Morris County). We handle cases in all of the counties in northern and central New Jersey, including not only Morris County but also Somerset, Hunterdon, Sussex, Warren, Passaic, Bergen, Hudson, Middlesex and Monmouth counties.
If you wish to schedule an Assessment, please call my office (973-455-1220) and speak to the firm’s Client Intake Coordinator Dara Vanderhoof, who can arrange a mutually convenient date and time.
