My marriage was not consummated after the wedding and we never lived together, would I be able to get an annulment?

More details to this question:
Very shortly after the wedding my husband left and I learned a lot about his addiction to drugs something I didn't know about before the wedding. I have no way of contacting him and I believe that he simply manipulated me into marrying him for the wrong reasons. I never picked up the marriage license after the signed papers were mailed in and I never changed my name. I would much rather have this marriage annulled as if it never happened because that is exactly how it feels. I know that time matters so I would like to get this taken care of before it's too late and I have no choice but to get a divorce.
Annulments receive significant scrutiny from most Family Court Judges. Based on the limited information provided, it may be possible to obtain an annulment. Lack of consummation and cohabitation should provide a basis for your action. Your question does not give the timeline which could impact the ability to prove your case.
