My wife and I are separated and we have been working cooperatively on
decisions up until now. She has threatened to take me to court for child support for our four-year-old twin daughters. I am willing to support the girls, but I would like to keep the matter out of court. I really want to avoid a situation where they garnish my wages because my place of employment does not need to know how much child support I pay each month. Can't I just pay her directly whenever she needs something for the girls?
