My husband just won his case of domestic violence, it was dismissed. How long does it take for the no contact order to be lifted? Because my number is still resticted when can i talk to him.
1 ANSWER
As to the injunction for protection against domestic violence, at the conclusion of the case you should have received a copy of the order of dismissal.
at that point the injunction is no longer in effect and you can (cautiously I might interject) speak with the other party.
However, if a no contact order was subsequently entered, then you must comply with the terms of same.
