QUESTION

Possible Divorce?

Asked on Jul 01st, 2015 on Divorce - California
More details to this question:
My dad got married to a woman named Barbara in 2009. They divorced in 2010 because my dad found out shes been stealing from him and committing adultery. After that they maintained a on and off relationship until 2013 when they had a secret marrige. I had no clue about it until he acidently admitted it to me. As his son im very concerned about this because i can tell shes using him for his money. When i told him he didnt believe me and called me selfish and refused to break it off. So my question is, is it possible to get them legally divorced even though none of them are agreeing to it?

Unfortunately, unless your father is not of sound mind and you are appointed as a conservator or Guardian for him, if neither party wants a divorce, you will NOT be able to force that. Jeffrey D. Stearman, Esq. Fullerton, CAl 92831 714-871-7778 www.MyOCFamilyLawyer.com
