I signed poa to my mother for my children when I didnt have stable housing. Since being with her, I've realized she is not stable herself.I have a place for my children now and want to get them back. She has a welfare case open on them. Can I just got pick them up or what do I have to do.
Power of attorney does not give “custody” rights to your mother. You are free to go pick them up.
Best of Luck,
