You pose a question that I would typically answer in the affirmative. I suspect what you really want to know is if your pension amount is going down (monthly payments?) does this reduce the amount your former spouse is to receive.  When a QDRO divides a  pension that the participant is going to receive into the future, how much of that the former spouse will receive and whether that will change depends on how the QDRO is worded.      Read over the language that deals with what your former spouse is to receive.  If it is worded as a percentage of the total payment, then it should adjust accordingly in the event your pension goes down....or up.      I hope you had this covered when you divorce.
