Questions about Emapncipation.

More details to this question:
Do I need a lawyer to get emancipated? Can I get Medicaid, food stamps, or other public assistance after an emancipation is filled and granted?

You probably could do the emancipation documents yourself.  Are you under 18?  If you are you may need an attorney, because I'm not sure the Court would allow you to file those documents on your own.  You would also be eligible for public assistance on your own income and resources.
