QUESTION

Restraining order on ex husbands girlfriend/fiancé

Asked on Nov 09th, 2020 on Child Custody - California
More details to this question:
Can I place a restraining order on exhusband fiancé? Her lifestyle and career/work/job places my son in danger and I fear for his safety. She manages and runs gentleman’s club with strippers and supports 81 (bike gang), had photos of her gun on fb. There is an article written on the establishment she runs and it gives a play by play of her daily work routine from handling the girls, alcohol, money, etc.. she lives and works in another state but spends weeks here with my sons dad and has taken my son to visit her without my permission which at the time I was ok with until I found out what she did for a living and her dangerous lifestyle.

You can always file for a restraining order.  But whether a court will grant a restraining is a different story.  I am presuming that you've already filed with the Superior Court and visitation orders are in place because you call him your "ex-husband."  If so, I would recommend that you file a Request for Order seeking limitations on visitation with your son.  If you haven't filed in the Superior Court for visitation orders re paternity because you also state "finance,"  I would recommend that you secure restrictions on the visitations with your child through the Superior court.
