Retroactive Child Support

More details to this question:
I would like to find out if it’s possible to claim backdated child support for an adult. His father left when he was 9 and he didn’t pay any maintenance or child support to raise him. Now as an adult the man feel disadvantaged. Knowing that His father owns property and a shop he feels he’s owed something from his father

BAckdated or retroactive child support is not allowable in New Jersey but for one exception which does not apply to your situation.
