My child lives in my household but she is 26 years old and working. She takes care of all her expenses and the only thing she does not pay is rent and food because she lives with us. Should I still claim her as a dependent?

No, if she's paying all her expenses other than food and rent, you don't qualify to take her as a dependent.

Very doubtful, she is an adult, working and has to file her own taxes.

She's not a dependent (unless she is disabled and you are the guardian) so you can't claim her. You should charge her a reasonable rent and a certain amount for food. You can declare the rent as income and deduct a proportional share of house related expenses against the rental amount.
