More details to this question:
My daughters dad an I are not together and have never been married. We don't get along and it's hard for us to agree on much. All of a sudden he wants to keep our daughter over night at least one night a week. He doesn't have a bed, room, food or clothes for her. He lives in a very unfit home with two people who have been to jail several times for making and distributing drugs. I am not ok with him keeping her at all. I want him to have a relationship with his daughter but I would like for him to have supervised visitation rights. I am not comfortable with him keeping her or keeping her over night with his living conditions. How do I go about handleing this situation?

Your best bet would be to consult a local attorney regarding having a visitation order put in place with appropriate restraints regarding your child.
