A family member is physically and abusing her teenage daughter. The situation is getting worse and worse. How do I got about filing for temporary custody.

What is your relationship with the child, and you should contact and hire an attorney to assist you as this pertains to the welfare of the child? If its excessive abuse, 911 should be called and addressed if its an emergency. Talk to a lawyer.
