Mom's Friend has legal temporary Custody of a child and the Bio-Mom and Bio-Dad have not been in contact for 2 years. Friends wants to adopted the child. Can we get the parents on abandonment. The child has attachment issues and cannot get some needed help without being adopted. Can you give any suggestion since the family cannot afford to adopted.

After 6 months of no contact, you can move for adoption. Check with your local Legal Aid. If they cannot help free of charge, ask if they can recommend a charity who can.
