QUESTION

Therapist abuse

Asked on Jan 19th, 2022 on Child Custody - Kansas
More details to this question:
I feel my former therapist has abused me. She has kissed me without any permission. She laid her head in my lap and put her finger to my mouth. She told me I had her love and offered me sex. She kept me far longer than she was supposed to. She wanted a relationship and told me to keep quiet about it. I made no move or acknowledgement. She was becoming obsessive towards me and would get upset when I started treating her badly to get away. She came to my apartment but did not enter. I did not invite her. She constantly affirmed me of her feelings for me I accepted as time went on. She lied to me about having a boyfriend. I was very distraught and later attempted suicide. She manipulated me.

Your case could be worth a lot. I had a case similar to yours here in the state of Florida with almost identical facts, and it was settled out of court. You should retain counsel in your jurisdiction to pursue this to the fullest extent of the law.
