to what age do i have to pay child support to.

I have a verbal agreement with my ex. on how much child support i pay . My son turns 21 this month and my ex. wants any back support i wasnt able to pay in past years. Can she take me to court without any legal documents other then money order reciepts .

Arrears ("back support") run back only to the date that a court filing requests child support. If your ex never requested child support in court, she shouldn't be able to request arrears now. Talk to an attorney to be sure of your rights. Good luck.
