QUESTION

Transfer

Asked on Dec 19th, 2013 on Child Support - New Jersey
More details to this question:
My ex filed for divorce in NJ & I reside in PA. The divorce was finalized several years ago. I recently received a motion from my ex's attorney asking to NJ court to transfer into PA since my ex now claims we live in the same county. Our daughter will be attending college in the fall and the NJ divorce decree says my ex is to pay support while child is in college. Is it possible my ex is trying to transfer our case to PA because the pa courts can over turn the NJ courts and cancel out the child support while she attends college? I can't figure out the motive of the sudden urgency to transfer when everything has already been settled? Any thoughts?
