Uncontested Divorce procedure in florida

Asked on Oct 02nd, 2013 on Divorce - Florida
More details to this question:
Im trying to file a petition for divorce. My wife lives out of state, she doesn't want to contest anything just wants to sign a waiver and get her name back. No children or property. What forms do i need to file initially. Would love to do (simplified) but she will not appear. Can i file the simplified form? Or do i file my petition and financial affidavit. Also my children receive SSI for death benefits from mother. Do i put that on the financial affidavit as income? Thank you

Update Your Profile
You can obtain the necessary forms from the clerk of court to file a standard petition for dissolution of marriage with no children. You can file this without your wife's signature, and you will then need to send her the appropriate waiver to sign and return to you. There is a self help office at most courts where a lawyer can show you how to complete the forms.  You will need to complete a financial affidavit as well.
