Violation of child custody order/interference

More details to this question:
Both parents have joint custody and the other parent refuses to give up child even tho court ordered times of exchange

Violations of court orders may be addressed by filing a motion for contempt.  You may want to reach out to the other parent before filing to see if you the issue can be resolved without the time and expense of filing a contempt.  Many thanks.
