My 8 year old daughter lives with her father in Florida, where I am from. We were never married and before I moved I had sole custody of her due to us never being married. For personal reasons I moved away from Florida to get my life back on track (have never been arrested or in trouble for anything). After I moved, the father filed for full custody stating that I abandoned our child, when in fact I did not, I had a sit down conversation about the move with the father and his family prior to moving. I now pay child support to my child's father every month and have absolutely no rights to her. They were scared that I would come to Florida and take Riley out of state and not give her back, which is a completely outrageous idea, I would never do something like that. They filed for me to not be allowed to leave FL with her. I am now wanting to fight for visitation rights so my daughter can come to Utah to visit me, my husband, and her little sister (me and my husbands daughter). Help!
