What are my reasonable chances of success?

I posted this question in the forums thinking I was talking to lawyers: http://community.lawyers.com/forums/p/131865/670824.aspx#670824 My concern is not so much for the safety of the kids as the fairness of treatment to me and my wife. My mother-in-law shares joint physical custody with my wife but has limited contact between us and our grandchildren. I feel there has been an injustice here and my mother-in-law has used the courts to hijack my life, my wife's life, my step-daughter's life, and my grandchildren's lives. Is there anything I can do?
