Im getting a divorce in NC i moved to MD with my family due to her violence i have a policy report but i think my wife is going to try and get me for child support of our son when we agreed to joint custody but no notarized agreement yet court is on febuary third what can i do
Your court date is next week, and you should not ignore it. Child support is based on who has physical custody of the minor child, the income of the parents, and certain expenses relating to the child. You should speak with an attorney in NC about this as soon as possible so that they can help you determine whether and how much child support is due.
