More details to this question:
My son is 16. Two weeks ago, he when to visit his father and now he call saying he don't want to comeback. I have the legal custody. He is pushed by his father. Can he do that or need to go thru the court? I don't want to let him go because his brother did the same and he never finish his high school and I don't want that to happen to him. He is in 11th grade and doing very good at school. The father doesn't want to pay child support. That is the real reason he is pushing my son to stay there.
If you have a court order stating that the boy should be with you and not the father, you can ask the police if they will enforce it. They might. If not, you will have to go to Family Division motion's court with a motion for contempt of custody order or emergency motion to confirm custody.
You need to file a motion for contempt of court. If a non-custodial parent in any way supports a child's attempt to violate the PP, the non-custodial parent may be held in contempt
