What can I do if my ex wife living in another country filed for a child support case?

I live in California and I was married and had two kids in the Philippines. Both mother and kids are none American citizens and living in the Philippines and my ex wife filed for a child support case in California. Can this be enforced? What are the steps that I can take to ensure I don't get taken advantage of since dollars are worth a lot more than the Philippine Pesos?
