What can I do if the father he wants to come get the kids and take them back to Tennessee with him, but I live in Alabama and do not trust him?

My soon to be ex husband wants to come to Alabama and get the older two kids for a weekend visit. He has lied to me numerous times and I do not trust him to bring them back. I am afraid he will take them and disappear with them. He and I are divorcing in three months what can I do to keep him from bailing with my kids and I never see them again? He basically left me and our four kids behind and wanted a divorce less than a month after arriving in TN. he has not sent money in four months. There is more than this but I want to keep this short I need a simple answer. What can I do to keep him from taking my daughters and disappearing with them?

You can get your attorney to file for an emergency injunction to stop him from removing the children from the Alabama Court's jurisdiction. It is highly advisable since once they have been removed from Alabama, it will take an extraordinary amount of time to get them returned. I would not hesitate to have my judge temporarily suspend visitation if this is a true concern of yours. Until custody is established, both parents have equal rights to the children.
