I called the police on my significant other saying they put their hands on me and now they might go to prison what can I do to stop that?? I asked the police that that I didn’t want charges pressed and that I just wanted them escorted out

If the case has not been before the court for a probable cause hearing, then you could go to court and ask the judge to dismiss the charges. Otherwise, you will need to contact the prosecuto and try to waive the prosecution of the case.
