What county can a modification for child support be heard?

My ex lives in a different county than I do. I have resided with my children in the same county for 7 years. He filed for modification in the county he resides in. Will the case be heard or dismissed because my children reside in a different county in PA than their father? I thought he had to file where the children reside. Is this true?

I thought he had to file in your county. You can call your family division and find out more information.
