What do we do next on child custody?

Online status:Connected 2:31:03 PM My 23 year old son has 2 kids that his father and his father's girlfriend has temporary custody and they think he's on drugs which he ain't .he is willing to drug test for whoever .I guess he sorta kinda messed up he left his children to follow the baby momma but came back after 7 months wants his kids in his life but his dad's ggirlfriend won't let him see them and now we're finding out that she wants to put a restraining order on my son.he gots a fulltime job now .what do you recommend us do our next step he never lost his parental rights?

Your son needs to file a paternity case in the California Superior Court requesting custody and/or visitation.  You cannot worry about the restraining order until he is served with the order, and then it's only temporary.  He must go to the hearing after he receives the order to attend a hearing.
