In Arizona there is a self service center at most, if not all, superior court facilities. Here is a link to the Maricopa County superior court self service center online: http://www.superiorcourt.maricopa.gov/SuperiorCourt/Self-ServiceCenter/Forms/FamilyCourt/ It would be in your best interest to at least consult with an experienced family law attorney to discuss your situatuon.

I would recommend that you go to the local "self help center" or clerk's department of the court house and request a packet regarding divorces. I know that in Ventura County the clerk's office has a packet of all the forms, with instructions, that are necessary to complete a divorce. Every case is different so additional forms may be necessary as you proceed. Those centers are a great place to start. Then you might want to meet with an attorney for an hour and have those forms reviewed for accuracy - not as to the information included but as to the information missing or necessary for the clerks to process them. I find that a consultation can save you much time, frustration and money in the end.

You need to go to your local court and ask for the forms, but you really need an attorney - it's just the rest of your life and your children's future.

Properly litigating a divorce with minor children can be quite complex, so I would recommend you contact the Court and see if they have any free or low-cost legal services (like the "Family Law Assistance Project" in the Metro Detroit area) for women who are victims of domestic violence.

I suggest you talk with a local domestic violence organization. They should help.
