What information does my husband's ex-wife have to have access to if I carry my stepson on my health insurance?

More details to this question:
I have added my husband and step son to my insurance, but I do not want my husband's ex wife having access to any of my personal information. My husband and his ex have joint custody. Does she have to have access to ANY information? If not, how do I enforce this with my stepsons doctors? My husband's ex is very controlling and manipulative and I am afraid she is going to find a way to convince his doctors that she needs this information. We also do not want her to have any of the information because she is not supposed to take him to the doctor without my husband (because of her own medical/pharmacy record), and she is always making appointments and taking him without telling my husband.
Given that they have joint custody, she likely has access to their child's medical records. That being said, if she has a provision in the agreement restricting her with respect to medical appointments, she might be restricted with information as well. She should not have any access to yours or your husband's information. It would likely violate HIPPA. If this is a major concern of yours, your best bet is to consult and perhaps retain an attorney to address this.
