More details to this question:
6 yrs ago i got sick & gave my brother my 11 yr. old son. For 6 yrs my brother told me it wouldnt be a good idea to see my son..due to his psycologlist. I am now well enough to visit..and my son will be 18 in June. I have made arrangements to visit. My brother refuses to let me see him. He has no court order to keep me away..I am in tears over this.

Obviously, much is undisclosed.  Sick?  You could, of course, push for immediate contact through a family court motion, but the reality is that it is March, and you would probably only get to court in May.  It might be more prudent to reach out when the child is emancipated in June -- at which point the decision of whether to have, or re-establish a relationship with you will be his.  Given how much time has passed, you might want to consult a therapist as to your best approach to such an invitation.
