What problems do I face for divulging my sealed divorce decree?

More details to this question:
I was divorced in NYS where it is standard court practice to seal divorce records. I recently moved to Ohio where by state law school districts require divorced parents to provide a copy of the decree to prove legal guardianship. They will not register my child in public school without this. Will giving them this document cause problems for me?

Since your decree was sealed in New York, and presumably under New York law, you should address your question to an attorney who practices in New York.
