More details to this question:
I applied for a DVPO because my spouse choked my son who is not biologically his. I was informed that children were not allowed in the courtroom so i did not bring my son when i applied for the DVPO. The judge ruled against the DVPO becuase i did not bring my son to court with me. The judges response was, "he has not done physical harm to you and your son isnt here tell what happened, so im inclined to deny the protective order. We have two other children. My spouse has been and is continually mentally abusive. He is not only mentally abusie to me, but the children, and other members of my family. He is trespassedfrom my parets home and he violated tht order. He continues to send harrassing text message and phone calls. What proof do i need to get in order to show them what is happening? i have all texts, and voicemails saved, along with voicemails he hasleft on famly members phones. Is this not enough? What else has t happen before someone will help me?
