Just because she wants "full" or "sole" custody, doesn't mean that you have no right to visit. Depending on what you want to do, you can file a cross petition for custody or visitation. One standard that a custodial parent needs to have, is the ability to encourage the child's relationship with the other parent. Your wife isn't helping her case by denying you access time.
Custody cases can become very complicated. Consider hiring a lawyer to represent you. Good luck.
