Where do I start?

My husband moved down here with us 2 years ago. With nothing bit the shirt on his back. I own my home. He owns two in the UP. We have a daughter together. He is drunk anytime he is not at work and i have had enough. He is mean and fights and yells at me and the kids constantly. I have asked him to leave and he refuses. I have told him i want a divorce and it has resulted in me having to leave my own home to remove myself from the constant issue. He said if i divorce him he will take our daughter and run. I worry. I know his constant alcohol and marijuana use is not safe for hin to take our daughter. But first things first. I don't know how to get him out of my house and start the divorce process.
