I don't know if I have visitation rights. I try to get and see my daughter when I'm able to. I am always told no. Im backed up in child support because I didnt know I had to pay. I want to file for custody back but I don't know how to go by doing it. When I use to get her on the weekends I couldn't get no clothes for her. If I'm paying child support, why can't the person who got my baby give me clothes for her to wear? I need some help about this situation. I tried calling my daughter, but the person who has her ignores my calls and text messages. What should I do?
It is impossible ot determine if you have visitation rights if you do not know, yourself, whether you have them. If you have them they should be part of an order from the court. I appears that you had custody, at one time and then this was changed. Look at the papers from that change. If there are orders regarding custody, and visitation, and phone contact, and those are being violated, then you can can file a contempt charge against the person violating them (assuming that the person is subject to those orders).
