Who do I contact for Florida woman rights?

More details to this question:
A woman is treated as a slave taking care of dogs and now she is dieing we would like to sue the man that she has been with for long years. We would like to open a case and sue this man. They are located in Florida and we are the family of the woman dieing. We want to contact someone as soon as possible. Is this a possible case? They are not married, but have been living together for more than 10 years in New York and they moved to Florida about 4 years.
