QUESTION

Who should gets visitation on the weekend in question?

Asked on Nov 02nd, 2014 on Child Custody - Nevada
More details to this question:
It is agreed that Holiday or other special occasion visitation shall supersede regular visitation. The school districts 9 month schedule shall be used. Guardians shall receive Friday until Monday on the Memorial day and Labor day Holidays. Petitioner shall receive the MLK, President's day, and Veteran's Day 3 day Holidays. This year Veteran's day is on a Tuesday. The school lists Monday 11/10 and Tuesday 11/11 as off days for Veteran's day. The weekend in question is the Guardian's weekend for visitation. Does this weekend belong to the Guardian or the Petitioner?

You have a conflict, apparently -- the Order was contemplating 3-day weekends (Friday to Monday) and you have a 4-day weekend at issue (Friday through Tuesday). Without knowing more of the context, it is hard to be very certain what was intended, but it appears that the Petitioner was supposed to get the weekend attached to the Veteran's day holiday, and the court would most likely say that if it was 4 days instead of 3 days, that does not make any difference to the allocation.
