If your husband does not want to sponsor you for green card, you will have to do it yourself. Based on your question, you may be eligible for cancellation of removal, which requires you to have lived in the US for ten years, good morale character and if you can show your deportation would cause extreme and unusual hardship to your USC children. Discuss your case with an immigration lawyer for advise.

Please schedule a consult with a competent immigration attorney in your area this week. If you cannot afford one, call your local state bar association for their pro bono panel. If he abused you, you can file for a green card on your own. If you are a victim of a crime, including from him, you can also apply for a U visa and also perhaps on your own. If you were married to him BEFORE he became a green card holder, you can probably also apply without him. Your husband should be ashamed of himself. I wish you the best of luck.

You didn't say what your resident status is. If you are hear illegally, they you are subject to being deported at any time, however the filing of a divorce action does not trigger any special enforcement by the immigration department.
