As a male in the state of Texas if can i act in self defense (non-deadly action kind) if punched/slapped by a female?

I'm 17 and have a sister a year younger than me who punches me constantly and slaps me constantly. Am I allowed to hit back when this occurs?

If your parents refuse to address this problem, you could seek the help of a trusted teacher or school counselor in how to handle this issue. You may need to call CPS if you can't get any help.
