More details to this question:
in 2012, the DOL awarded me a $30,000 judgment against my ex employer for a multitude of payroll violations....outside of the liens & levies is there any other way to collect the money? can I garnish his wages if he owns his own company and is self employed?...and lastly, can I file criminal charges against him?

what have you done to enforce the judgment ? why not use the lawyer who got you the $30,000 to enforce the judgment ? this attorney knows the case and the parties. are their monies available to pay the judgment ? i would be starting from zero so there is a cost in getting smart on the issues and the parties. i will review the documents and give you a written legal opinion on the merits of your case. this will tell you whether you should proceed. ed dimon, esq. 732-797-1600
