Disk Jocky info

More details to this question:
I am a senior citizen and we have a country line dance club in south Jersey. We have between 20 and thirty members that show up to dance on most Monday nights. (whether and "life" permitting) LOL We cannot afford to keep paying our present DJ and pay for the hall too. I was wondering what the laws are in this type of situation. What would the laws be if we were to take turns calling the dance and playing the related song on a computer? This would be strictly volunteers. No one would be getting paid and this is a club not a for profit organization. Any information or help you could provide would really be appreciated. Thank you for your time and consideration?

I do not see a problem. You are having a dance party and playing your own music. I would not be involved with alcohol and i would take up a collection to pay for the hall. Ed Dimon
