QUESTION

Do I have the right to computers that were gifted to me?

Asked on Oct 25th, 2021 on General Practice - Florida
More details to this question:
I got kicked out of my mothers house on Friday. She packed all my things without my consent and threw them on the porch. Everything except my laptop and desktop computer that she gifted to me last year. She says they are hers even thought she bought them for me, one was even a birthday gift. I plan to get my computers one way or another if I have to call the police. I just need to know whether I have th rights to get my computers back or not.

If your mother gave the computers to you unconditionally, she has no right to keep them, but it appears that you're going to have to sue her and convince the judge or jury that they were gifts in order to get them back.
