QUESTION

How do I fight this?

More details to this question:
I just left a very abusive relationship. My ex was arrested for domestic violence and has been charged. He is also on his 3rd felony DUI. We lived together for approx 6 years. He is suing me for new flooring in his home, punitive damages and a few other bogus things. I do have a protective order against him. I feel he only filed this to come after me. He lost control and he is trying to hurt me however he can. He did a plea in abeyance for the DV. A few months later he got his 3rd felony DUI. He told me if he got charged he would make my life hell and kill me. He is trying to keep my items and a vehicle that is in my name, he will not return to me. He wants me to sign it over to him. When we moved in he sold everything of mine and kept the money. I helped him redo his basement in his home. I had my checks from work going into his bank account as well as giving him money. I just want him to go away and leave me alone. But he has to hurt me. I don't know what to do.
