QUESTION

More details to this question:
So I have obtained a default judgement on a client. I have filed for a wage garnishment and it has been delivered and signed for acknowledgement. It has been over 2 months and I have not heard anything back from the company that was served for the garnishment of one of their employees. I am wanting to know if this could be justified in any way for the company to be liable for the employees debt since they have not fullfilled their part....

Tennessee Rule of Civil Procedure 69.05(3)-(4) provides how a garnishment is to be handled and what procedure to follow if the employer fails to file an answer with the clerk of the court. Good luck.
