How do I obtain a birth certificate without photo ID?

Born in New Jersey, need to obtain certified birth certificate but lost contact with all relatives and do not possess a photo ID. Only piece of identification is a Social Security card.

this is not an easy procedure given the problems with 'identity theft'. you will need significant documentation in addition to a social security card. where were you born ? in what hospital ? where did you go to school ? where did you graduate from high school ? where were your parents born ? we can help you.
