QUESTION

How far is too far for jury duty?

Asked on Jun 11th, 2016 on General Practice - New Jersey
More details to this question:
I just received a summons for jury duty as a Grand Juror in Trenton NJ. I live 100 miles away, meaning a 200 mile round trip and about 4 hours of commute time(if I am lucky) each day. That does not take into consideration the parking (which according to their website is not paid for), tolls and gas. This does not sound right. is there a recourse?? This seems like an extreme. Also, I only selected 'General Practice' as the topic because there was no general, miscellaneous, or court category
