I'm a full time house wife, not working, he promised to file for me this year and anytime I brought up the topic he gives different excuses. I found out that he has been cheating on me for over two years with an African American woman. On September 13th he didn't come back home up until 4am. Over the phone he told me that he got married to another woman traditionally that night. He got home and moved to the guest room and said since I didn't want to share him with her he will no longer be with me. Last Thursday I was served a divorce petition. Now, I was planning on filing for my citizenship, where do I stand now?

OK so I'm a little bit confused by some of your facts. You state that you got your green card upon arrival, but then you state that you wanted to file and have him file for you but every time you bring up the subject he does not want to talk about it. So are you a green card holder presently? Or are you currently trying to get a green card?
