QUESTION

Is it possible to sue Sallie Mae for harrassment?

Asked on May 01st, 2014 on General Practice - New Jersey
More details to this question:
Currently unemployed and in school; ended up in repayment status with Sallie Mae, unable to pay due to financial situation. I have had 3 phone conversations where Sallie Mae representatives read items off my credit report. I informed them I did not authorize such use of my credit report, and requested proof of such authorization. Sallie Mae has not provided any information to me. Also, these representatives threaten me by saying I will not find a job and be able to make future purchases with a default.
