Is there any legal action I can take against the donor service that mangled my husbands body?

My husband passed away February 19. He was a organ donor so I was happy to give donor services the ok when they called, as long as a viewing of the body would still be possible. I was assured that as long as he was in long sleeves there would be no problem. When the mortician got the body it was so mangled it couldn't even be embalmed. I still haven't received the paperwork for the agreement between myself and the service.
